How Does Door Release Work?

Press the exit door release to connect to an access control application that uses a wire to control the locking mechanism of the door. Anyone
who needs to leave the building or go through the door simply presses or presses the button.
When pressed, it temporarily releases the fail-safe or fail-safe lock on the door. The exit button releases the magnetic lock's power. This way,
the door opens automatically and allows free exit. The lock will detach, opening the door as needed.
